Best Long Lasting Perfumes for Women in the UAE
Article Summary: The best long lasting perfumes for women in the UAE are the ones whose base is built from amber, patchouli, vanilla, resins and heavy florals, because those materials evaporate slowest in heat. The ten below, Libre, Delina, Crystal Noir, Black Orchid, Si, Coco Mademoiselle, Euphoria, Poison Girl, Honour Woman and Alien, all qualify on composition, are ordered by how often the UAE searches for each, and each comes with the MOJ version from AED 26 for 30 ml.
- Longevity is chemistry: a perfume lasts as long as its slowest-evaporating materials, and every pick here finishes on amber, patchouli, vanilla, benzoin, incense or sandalwood.
- Five of the ten are eaux de parfum from 2001 to 2006 that are still sold under the same name: Coco Mademoiselle (2001), Crystal Noir (2004), Euphoria and Alien (both 2005) and Black Orchid (2006).
- The originals run from AED 450 for 50 ml of Crystal Noir to AED 1,490 for 75 ml of Delina at approved UAE retailers.
- Seven of the ten MOJ versions were available in all three sizes on October 15, 2026; the 100 ml of Libre and Si and the 30 ml of Mademoiselle were not.
- MOJ prices run from AED 26 for 30 ml of Girl Poison to AED 48 for Alien.

What makes a women's perfume last in the UAE
A perfume lasts exactly as long as its slowest material. Citrus, light florals and marine notes are small molecules that leave the skin within an hour or two, faster at 40 degrees; amber, patchouli, vanilla, benzoin, incense, sandalwood and the heavy white flowers are large molecules that stay for most of a day. So "long lasting" is not a promise on a box, it is a question about the base of the pyramid, and every fragrance below was chosen by reading that base first. Concentration matters second: all ten originals are eaux de parfum or stronger, and all ten MOJ versions are full eau de parfum concentration, in our perfumes for women collection.
Two honest limits. We do not print hour counts, because the same bottle lasts differently on dry skin and moisturised skin, in a car park in August and an office at 21 degrees, and any number we gave you would be wrong for half of you. And this is the women's companion to our mixed guide to the best long lasting perfumes, which covers the oud, tobacco and unisex side; nothing here repeats it. Within the ten, the order is how often the UAE searches for the original each month, from Libre at 4,400 down to Alien at 320.
The ten, with the MOJ version of each
1. Libre: the lavender that stays because of the vanilla
Libre is remembered for its lavender, but the lavender is not what lasts. Launched in August 2019 by Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaim for Yves Saint Laurent, it opens on lavender, mandarin and blackcurrant, repeats the lavender in the heart with orange blossom and jasmine, then lands on Madagascar vanilla, musk, cedar and ambergris, and that base is the reason it is still there after the lavender has gone. The brand's UAE store lists the 90 ml at AED 725. The women's fragrance the UAE searches for most, at 4,400 a month.
Our Libre follows the same pyramid to the vanilla and ambergris floor. The 30 and 50 ml are available at the moment from AED 39; the 100 ml is not. Office, dinner afterwards and nothing in between needs a top-up.
- Top: lavender, mandarin orange, black currant, petitgrain
- Heart: lavender, orange blossom, jasmine
- Base: Madagascar vanilla, musk, cedar, ambergris
2. Delina: the rose on a cashmeran floor
Most rose perfumes fade by lunch because rose itself is a heart note. Delina, from 2017 by Quentin Bisch for Parfums de Marly, solved that by setting its lychee and Turkish rose on cashmeran, a woody musk material that clings to skin, with incense and cedar beside it. The result is a rose that is still a rose at 6 PM, which is a large part of why the UAE searches for it 2,900 times a month and pays AED 1,490 for 75 ml at Ounass and on the brand's UAE site.
Our Delina reads the same lychee, rose and cashmeran line, in all three sizes from AED 39. Weddings and engagements, where the day is long and you want the rose to see the end of it.
- Top: litchi, rhubarb, bergamot, black currant, nutmeg
- Heart: Turkish rose, peony, musk, petalia, vanilla
- Base: cashmeran, incense, cedar
3. Crystal Noir: the gardenia with an amber base
Versace launched Crystal Noir in 2004, credited widely to Antoine Lie, first as an eau de toilette and later as the eau de parfum that matters here: cardamom, pepper and ginger over gardenia, peony and orange flower, on amber, sandalwood and musk. The gardenia is the loud part; the amber and sandalwood are the part still on your wrist at midnight. It is the third most searched fragrance on this list at 1,900 a month, and Faces lists the eau de parfum at AED 450 for 50 ml and AED 558 for 90 ml, which makes it the cheapest original here.
Our Crystal Noir follows the spiced opening and the gardenia heart with coconut in the middle, in all three sizes from AED 32, one of the two cheapest MOJ bottles here. Evening abayas, gold and dimmed rooms.
- Top: pepper, ginger, cardamom
- Heart: coconut, gardenia, orange blossom, peony
- Base: sandalwood, musk, amber
4. Black Orchid: the heaviest base on this list
Black Orchid, from 2006 by David Apel and Pierre Negrin, was the first fragrance under Tom Ford's own name and it remains the densest thing in his signature line: black truffle and ylang-ylang over black orchid, finishing on patchouli, vanilla, incense and sandalwood, with a dark chocolate impression in the drydown that fragrance databases report and the house does not list. It entered the Fragrance Foundation's Hall of Fame in 2022. Nothing on this page has more slow-evaporating material in its base, which is why it is the one to wear when you need to be smelled at 11 PM. Faces and Ounass both list the eau de parfum at AED 635 for 50 ml.
Our Black Orchid follows the truffle, orchid and patchouli structure, in all three sizes from AED 39. Velvet after midnight; too much for an office, exactly right for everything after it. The rest of the house is in our guide to the best Tom Ford perfumes.
- Top: truffle, gardenia, black currant, bergamot
- Heart: orchid, spices, ylang-ylang, lotus
- Base: Mexican chocolate, patchouli, vanilla, incense, sandalwood
5. Si: the chypre that reads senior
Si launched in 2013, composed by Christine Nagel for Giorgio Armani, and its endurance comes from being a chypre: blackcurrant on top, May rose and freesia in the heart, then vanilla, patchouli, woods and ambroxan underneath, the patchouli and ambroxan doing the staying. It reads senior without reading severe, the perfume version of speaking last in the meeting, and the UAE searches for it about 1,500 times a month across its two spellings. Faces and Ounass both list the 50 ml eau de parfum at AED 530.
Our Si follows the cassis, rose and patchouli line. The 30 and 50 ml are available at the moment from AED 39; the 100 ml is not. Office days that run into dinner, which in this country is most of them.
- Top: cassis
- Heart: May rose, freesia
- Base: vanilla, patchouli, woody notes, ambroxan
6. Mademoiselle: the patchouli hiding under the orange
Coco Mademoiselle, from 2001 by Jacques Polge, Chanel's in-house perfumer from 1978 to 2015, is the fragrance that taught a generation of women to wear patchouli without knowing it. The opening is orange and bergamot, the heart rose and jasmine, but the base is patchouli first, then vetiver, vanilla and white musk, and the patchouli is what keeps a bright floral from evaporating by noon. Chanel publishes no note pyramid, so anything more detailed than that is an aggregator's reading. Chanel's UAE store lists the 100 ml eau de parfum at AED 795.
Our Mademoiselle lists the patchouli first in its base as well. The 50 and 100 ml are available at the moment from AED 54; the 30 ml is not. The meeting where the decision gets made, and the dinner after it; the rest of the house is in our guide to the best Chanel perfumes.
- Top: orange, mandarin orange, bergamot, orange blossom
- Heart: Turkish rose, jasmine, mimosa, ylang-ylang
- Base: patchouli, white musk, vanilla, vetiver, tonka bean, opoponax
7. Euphoria Women: amber and mahogany under the pomegranate
Euphoria, from 2005 by Dominique Ropion, Carlos Benaim and Loc Dong, won Fragrance of the Year in the women's luxe category at the FiFi Awards in April 2006, and it earned that on structure: pomegranate and persimmon over black orchid, lotus and champaca, landing on liquid amber, mahogany, black violet and a cream accord. The fruit is the first ten minutes; the amber and mahogany are the rest of the day. One caution on the original: an eau de toilette exists alongside the eau de parfum under the same name, and only the eau de parfum belongs on this list. Calvin Klein fragrance is not carried by the big UAE luxury retailers, so the honest route to the original is the brand's own UAE website or its Dubai Mall store, and we quote no retailer price.
Our Euphoria Women follows the pomegranate, black orchid and amber structure, in all three sizes from AED 32. Evenings and occasions in any month.
- Top: pomegranate, persimmon, green accord
- Heart: black orchid, lotus, champaca
- Base: mahogany, amber, black violet, whipped cream
8. Girl Poison: the almond and tonka that outlast the orange
Poison Girl, from 2016 by Francois Demachy, carries the DNA of the 1985 original with a modern smirk: bitter orange over Grasse rose onto almond, tonka and vanilla. The orange is gone within the hour; the almond, tonka and vanilla are a gourmand base of the slow kind, which is why a fragrance this playful ends up on an endurance list. The UAE searches for it about 590 times a month across the two ways of writing the name, and it is AED 580 for 50 ml at UAE retailers. Do not confuse it with Hypnotic Poison, the 1998 almond and vanilla fragrance in the same family, which is a different perfume and not the one our version reads.
Our Girl Poison follows the bitter orange, rose and almond structure, in all three sizes from AED 26, the cheapest bottle in this guide. Date nights and cooler evenings, for the friend who is bored of nice.
- Top: bitter orange, lemon
- Heart: Damask rose, Grasse rose, orange blossom
- Base: vanilla, almond, tonka bean, tolu balsam, sandalwood, heliotrope, cashmeran
9. Honour Women: the Gulf house that builds for the Gulf
Amouage was founded in Muscat in 1983 and composes for exactly this climate, which is why its eaux de parfum are known for unusually high oil concentrations. Honour Woman, from 2011 by Alexandra Carlin and Violaine Collas, was briefed on Madame Butterfly: rhubarb, pepper and coriander over a dense white floral heart of gardenia, tuberose, jasmine and lily of the valley, on amber, incense, opoponax, vetiver and leather. A base of resins and leather under heavy white flowers is about as slow as perfumery gets. UAE retailers price Amouage's women's mainline at roughly AED 1,450 to 1,550 for 100 ml depending on where you buy.
Our Honour Women follows the white floral heart and the amber, incense and leather base, in all three sizes from AED 39. Formal events, a wedding as a guest, any evening with elders present; the whole house is in our guide to the best Amouage perfumes.
- Top: rhubarb, pepper, coriander
- Heart: gardenia, tuberose, jasmine, lily of the valley, carnation
- Base: amber, incense, opoponax, vetiver, leather
10. Alien: three notes, two of them bases
Mugler lists only three materials for Alien, from 2005 by Dominique Ropion and Laurent Bruyere: jasmine sambac, cashmeran and white amber. Two of the three are base materials, which is the whole secret; there is almost nothing in it that evaporates quickly, and the jasmine sambac is the heaviest, most indolic jasmine there is. People either wear it for decades or never touch it. Faces lists the 90 ml at AED 725. It is the smallest search number on this list at 320 a month and the one most likely to be recognised across a room.
Our Alien keeps the three-note structure, in all three sizes from AED 48, the most expensive MOJ bottle in this guide and still less than a fifteenth of the original per bottle. Evenings and occasions in the cooler months; the jasmine side of the catalogue is in our guide to the best jasmine perfumes.
- Top: jasmine sambac
- Heart: cashmeran
- Base: white amber
How to make any of these last longer in the heat
Four habits do more than any label. Spray on moisturised skin, because fragrance evaporates from dry skin faster; an unscented lotion first is the single biggest change most women never make. Spray where it is covered, the inside of the elbow, the back of the neck under hair, the chest under an abaya or blouse, because the sun and the wind take whatever sits on an exposed wrist. Do not rub your wrists together; it crushes the top notes and changes nothing about the base. And keep the bottle out of the car and the bathroom: a bottle that spends a summer in a glovebox at 60 degrees loses its top notes before you ever wear it.
One UAE-specific point: air conditioning is kinder to perfume than the outdoors, so a fragrance that seems to vanish by 3 PM on a day of errands will behave very differently on a day in the office. Judge a bottle after a week of both, not one afternoon. If you want the country's overall favourites regardless of endurance, they are ranked by search in our guide to the best perfumes in the UAE.
Which to buy first
For an everyday signature that survives work and dinner, Libre, Si or Mademoiselle. For an evening fragrance meant to be noticed late, Black Orchid, Crystal Noir or Euphoria. For a rose that keeps its promise, Delina. For the Gulf's own idea of endurance, Honour Women. For a scent people will name across a room, Alien. For the cheapest way to test whether a heavy gourmand base suits your skin, Girl Poison at AED 26. All ten are eau de parfum in 30, 50 and 100 ml, and the sensible order is a 30 ml, a week of wear in both heat and air conditioning, then the size you will finish.
Frequently Asked Questions
The longest lasting women's perfumes are the ones with amber, patchouli, vanilla, resin or heavy white floral bases, because those materials evaporate slowest in heat. In the UAE the most searched of them is YSL Libre, with Delina, Crystal Noir, Black Orchid, Si, Coco Mademoiselle, Euphoria, Poison Girl, Amouage Honour Woman and Mugler Alien close behind. MOJ makes an eau de parfum reading of each in 30, 50 and 100 ml from AED 26.
By composition, Tom Ford Black Orchid and Mugler Alien have the heaviest bases on the list: Black Orchid finishes on patchouli, vanilla, incense and sandalwood, and two of Alien's three materials, cashmeran and white amber, are base notes. Amouage Honour Woman is built on amber, incense and leather under tuberose and gardenia. Exact hours vary with skin, dose and whether you are indoors or outside in the heat, so no honest guide prints a number.
Spray on moisturised skin, because fragrance evaporates faster from dry skin; apply where it is covered, such as the inside of the elbow, the back of the neck under hair and the chest under clothing; do not rub your wrists together; and keep the bottle out of the car and the bathroom. Air conditioning is kinder to perfume than the outdoors, so judge a bottle after a week of both before deciding it does not last.
Usually, because eau de parfum carries a higher concentration of fragrance oil than eau de toilette, but the base notes matter as much as the concentration. An eau de toilette built on amber and patchouli can outlast an eau de parfum built on citrus. All ten perfumes in this guide are eaux de parfum or stronger, and so are the MOJ versions.
MOJ versions follow the same base structures as the originals, which is where longevity lives, and they are full eau de parfum concentration. We do not claim molecule-for-molecule equality with a bottle that costs ten to forty times more. The affordable way to find out is a 30 ml MOJ version worn for a week in both heat and air conditioning; if it convinces you, the original is still at the counter.
