Best Tuberose Perfumes in the UAE
Article Summary: Tuberose is the loudest white flower in perfumery, a night-blooming Mexican relative of the agave whose cut blossoms keep producing scent for up to two days, and whose absolute takes roughly 1,200 kilograms of flowers to yield 200 grams. The nine perfumes below run from the 1948 reference Fracas to the tuberose hiding inside Khamrah, with verified UAE pricing and MOJ versions from AED 32.
- Roughly 1,200 kilograms of tuberose flowers yield about 200 grams of absolute, making it one of perfumery's costliest materials.
- Fracas (1948, perfumer Germaine Cellier) remains the reference every tuberose is measured against.
- Frederic Malle's Carnal Flower claims one of the highest concentrations of natural tuberose in modern perfumery, at AED 1,540 per 100ml.
- In India tuberose is called Rajnigandha, fragrant at night, and perfumes wedding ceremonies.
- Six MOJ versions carry the note, priced from AED 32 to 138.

Tuberose is the diva of white flowers. A night-blooming Mexican relative of the agave, its cut blossoms keep producing scent for up to two days after picking, which is why the old perfumers extracted it by enfleurage, and why legend says Renaissance Italy forbade young women from walking tuberose gardens after dark. In India it is Rajnigandha, fragrant at night, garlanding weddings. It also loves heat, projects at majlis volume and sits behind half the great white florals in our women's collection, playing the role jasmine plays in our jasmine guide, only louder.
The usual rules apply. Every fact is verified against official pages and UAE retailer listings from September 2026, prices are as listed at time of writing, and where a bottle has gone scarce we say so.
The Best Tuberose Perfumes and Their MOJ Versions
1. Fracas
Fracas (1948, perfumer Germaine Cellier, one of the first women to lead a perfume house's creations) is where tuberose perfumery begins: a buttery, full-volume white floral so definitive that Frederic Malle himself said every tuberose since is measured against it. It is hard to find in the UAE, around AED 920 per 100ml through Harrods online delivery, which is its own comment on how retail treats history.
We do not make a Fracas version; the styles below carry its DNA in modern form.
2. Carnal Flower
Carnal Flower (2005, perfumer Dominique Ropion, two years in development) is the modern masterwork: green eucalyptus cold over an enormous natural tuberose heart, with Malle claiming one of the highest concentrations of natural tuberose in modern perfumery. At UAE retail it lists at AED 1,120 per 50ml and AED 1,540 per 100ml when stocked, which the 1,200-kilograms-per-200-grams arithmetic goes some way to explaining.
No MOJ version of this one either; at that natural-material concentration, an interpretation would be a different perfume wearing the same name.
3. Gucci Bloom
Bloom (2017, perfumer Alberto Morillas) put tuberose back on every counter: thickened with jasmine and Rangoon creeper into a white wall of flowers. AED 520 per 50ml at UAE retail, and the reason a generation under thirty knows what tuberose smells like.
No MOJ version yet, as our Gucci guide admits; the four styles below are where our tuberose actually lives.
4. My Way
My Way (2020, perfumers Carlos Benaim and Bruno Jovanovic) is tuberose with table manners: paired with Indian jasmine over vanilla and cedar, luminous rather than buttery. The gateway tuberose, at AED 705 per 90ml at UAE retail.
- Top: orange blossom, bergamot
- Heart: tuberose, Indian jasmine
- Base: Madagascar vanilla, white musk, Virginian cedar
The MOJ version starts at AED 54. Daytime tuberose that never raises its voice.
5. L Interdit
L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge (2021, perfumers Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Fanny Bal) is tuberose with a temper: ginger and blood orange striking a tuberose and jasmine heart spiked with pimento leaf, on dark woods. Ropion again, two decades after Carnal Flower, proving the flower still has new moods. AED 680 per 80ml at UAE retail.
- Top: ginger, blood orange
- Heart: tuberose, jasmine, pimento leaf
- Base: sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver
The MOJ version starts at AED 32. Evening tuberose with heat behind it.
6. Supreme Bouquet
Supreme Bouquet, from YSL's high-end Le Vestiaire des Parfums wardrobe, stacks tuberose with ylang-ylang and jasmine into the densest bouquet in this guide, over pear and pink pepper on amber and musk. AED 1,265 per 125ml at UAE retail.
- Top: fruity notes, pear, pink pepper
- Heart: tuberose, ylang-ylang, jasmine
- Base: amber, musk, patchouli
The MOJ version starts at AED 48. Weddings and every event with a photographer.
7. Honour Women
Honour Woman (2011, perfumers Alexandra Carlin and Violaine Collas) casts tuberose in an opera: beside gardenia, jasmine and lily of the valley, opened with rhubarb and pepper, grounded in incense and leather, on the Madame Butterfly story. Between roughly AED 900 and 1,450 in the UAE depending on retailer, with the house's full range in our best Amouage perfumes guide.
- Top: rhubarb, pepper, coriander
- Heart: gardenia, tuberose, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, carnation
- Base: amber, incense, opoponax, vetiver, leather
The MOJ version starts at AED 39. Formal evenings and the biggest white floral we make.
8. Fandii
Fan di Fendi (2010, created by Delphine Lebeau under the direction of Francois Demachy) wrapped its tuberose in fruit and leather, tangerine and blackcurrant over a jasmine-tuberose-rose heart on a leather base. Fendi later left perfume entirely, only returning with an all-new collection in 2024, which leaves the original long off UAE shelves. Discontinued styles surviving through interpretations is exactly the story our inspired perfumes explainer tells.
- Top: tangerine, black currant, pear
- Heart: jasmine, tuberose, rose
- Base: leather, patchouli
The MOJ version starts at AED 32 and is the only new bottle of this style left. Fruity tuberose with a leather signature.
9. Khamrah
Here is the twist ending: the viral cinnamon-date gourmand half the UAE wears has tuberose sitting quietly in its heart, between the dates and the praline, smoothing the sweetness into cream. Most wearers have no idea, which is the best argument in this guide that tuberose is not just a diva note, it is a team player too. Its spice credentials live in our best spicy perfumes guide.
- Top: cinnamon, nutmeg, bergamot
- Heart: dates, praline, tuberose, mahonial
- Base: vanilla, tonka bean, amberwood, benzoin, myrrh, akigalawood
The MOJ version starts at AED 32. You came for the dates; the flower was there all along.
Original or Inspired: How to Decide
Natural tuberose absolute is priced like the 1,200 kilograms of night-picked flowers it takes to make 200 grams of it, and Carnal Flower is what that honesty costs. If the material itself is the point, the originals earn every dirham. If what you want is the effect, that creamy, room-warming white flower, MOJ carries it in six compositions from AED 32 to 138, from a whisper in My Way to an aria in Honour Women, and tuberose is the note most of our romantic perfumes picks reach for when jasmine is not enough.
Frequently Asked Questions
Creamy, heady white flower with a buttery, almost tropical warmth, noticeably louder than jasmine or orange blossom. Depending on the composition it can lean green and mentholated, as in Carnal Flower, or soft and luminous, as in My Way. It is a night-blooming flower, so its scent is strongest after dark, which is exactly when most people wear it.
The raw material. It takes roughly 1,200 kilograms of tuberose flowers, picked at night when the scent peaks, to produce about 200 grams of absolute, which makes it one of the costliest materials in perfumery. That is why originals built on natural tuberose, like Carnal Flower at AED 1,540 per 100ml, cost what they do, and why MOJ versions of tuberose styles from AED 32 are the practical way to wear the note daily.
They are different flowers that often share a bottle. Jasmine is lighter, sweeter and more transparent; tuberose is creamier, louder and more buttery, with a carnal warmth jasmine does not have. Most big white florals, including My Way and Supreme Bouquet, use both: jasmine for lift, tuberose for volume. If jasmine is a voice, tuberose is the choir.
Yes, with judgment. Tuberose is a heat-loving flower and its perfumes bloom rather than collapse in Gulf temperatures, but that same power means two sprays are enough outdoors and evening wear suits it best. For air-conditioned offices, choose the quieter styles like My Way rather than the dense bouquets, which are better saved for events and evenings.
