Tam Dao (2003, credited to perfumer Daniel Moliere) is Diptyque's love letter to founder Yves Coueslant's childhood Vietnam, where sandalwood burned in temple incense: sandalwood and cedar brushed with cypress, spices and amber, meditation in a bottle. The richer eau de parfum followed about a decade later and sells for AED 855 to 900 per 75ml in the UAE.
